NoveList, a readers' advisory service, provides access to 155,000 fiction titles, and also offers feature content that will expand your staff's ability to serve fiction readers of all ages and increase the reach of your library's program including author read-alikes, book discussion guides, reading lists and more.
NoveList K-8, a fiction database, designed especially for elementary and middle schools. The “Working with Kids” section of the Browse panel on the homepage provides a single location to access all of the curricular materials such as our Grab and Go Book Lists, BookTalks, Picture Book Extenders and more.
NoveList® Plus is here to help libraries and their patrons find that next great read. With well over 200,000 fiction and readable nonfiction titles included, plus feature content including lists of award-winning books, Book Discussion Guides, BookTalks, Recommended Reads and more, NoveList Plus is a complete readers’ resource.
In NoveList Select, readers will learn about relevant books that are sitting on your shelves. Only those titles your library holds are displayed, with links into your catalog. This service is available for all major library catalog systems including Innovative, Millennium, SIRSI-Unicorn, Dynix-Horizon and Polaris systems.
Subscription information is now available for NoveList, NoveList K-8, NoveList Plus and NoveList Plus K-8, NoveList Select, NextReads (an online newsletter service) and NoveList Complete (all NoveList products).
NoveList will not be funded by APLEN for 2014.
Pricing for NextReads is also available upon request.
This subscription falls under the standard TAL license with EBSCO.
If you would like to subscribe to any of these products or cancel an existing subscription, please respond with your decision to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than Friday, November 29, 2013. Please indicate the product(s) to which you would like to subscribe or cancel. The spreadsheet attached has current subscribers for each product highlighted in yellow. Please ensure the correct products are highlighted for your institution.
Subscribers will be sent a subscribers’ agreement shortly. You are asked to fax a signed copy at your earliest convenience. This subscriber’s agreement will permit TAL to renew automatically for future renewals.
If you are a current subscriber, TAL will automatically renew your subscription and you will be invoiced accordingly if you do not provide cancellation notice before Friday, November 29, 2013. This is according to the subscribers’ agreement.
