2013-2014 pricing for Zinio from Recorded Books is now available.
The subscription cycle has changed to November 1 – October 31. Current subscribers that wish to renew will have continued access for October but will be billed for 13 months access (October 1, 2013 – October 31, 2014).
There are two separate costs; one is the platform fee and one is the content fee. Both are renewed annually. You may choose any titles you wish from the title spreadsheet attached in the email. There are no prescribed packages, the top two titles are complementary. The next two are new. Otherwise, the titles are listed by popularity so for those interested in the top 50 titles, you may simply select those. The popularity ranking is noted on the far right. For the current top 50 titles, the cost is $3669.03.
Pricing has been negotiated down from the original 2013-2014 offer; please note that multi-year pricing has not been negotiated. Based on the pricing presented this year, one could expect significant annual increases to the platform fee and titles for future renewals.
Included with a Zinio subscription is the One Click Digital (no content). Ebooks are now available on that platform.
The vendor has included pricing for Atomic Learning (software training) and Transparent Language (language learning); please contact Christa Foley if you are interested.
License under negotiation. Libraries will be sent a license when it is finalized.
Mid-term joins are not accepted for this resource.

If you would like to cancel or subscribe, please respond with your decision to cfoley@thealbertalibrary.ab.ca no later than Tuesday, October 15, 2013.
Please include the title list you wish to order including only those titles you wish to order.
Subscribers will be sent a subscribers’ agreement shortly. You are asked to fax a signed copy at your earliest convenience. This subscriber’s agreement will permit TAL to renew automatically for future renewals.
Current subscribers are required to respond with any changes or cancellations by Tuesday, October 15, 2013 or your subscription will be renewed as is automatically for 13 months.
