From the vendor:
Project MUSE has launched its 2017 sales cycle for our Project MUSE Book Collections. You can access North American pricing for all available collections at http://bit.ly/2g0587Z. (Note that this link will download an Excel file.) Book collection pricing, like our journals pricing, is based upon an institution's tier (http://muse.jhu.edu/about/order/pricing_tiers.html); pricing for public, special, and school libraries is also included in the document. By the end of 2017, there will be over 49,000 ebooks on MUSE, from over 100 distinguished scholarly presses. New presses contributing books for the first time in 2017 include Leiden University Press and Liturgical Press.
Each year, MUSE releases a new set of book collections including subject-based and area studies collections, a complete collection of the forthcoming titles anticipated to be released on the platform in the upcoming year, and supplements to our previously released collections. This year, we are pleased to offer a new series collection from the Fortress Press, Hermeneia: A Critical and Historical Commentary on the Bible. The Hermeneia commentary series seeks to offer authoritative interpretation of the earliest texts of the biblical books and other literature closely related to the Bible. MUSE will offer an initial 50-volume set of all books published in the series to date. Future volumes are anticipated and will be available as they are released. Pricing for the Hermeneia is included in the document linked above.
MUSE continues to offer very special pricing to libraries wishing to acquire comprehensively all the books available on the MUSE platform. This program also includes a 2017 "top-off" price for all the new books launching on the platform in 2017, for those libraries that have already purchased all previously-available books.
All UPCC books on MUSE are DRM-free, with unlimited simultaneous usage, downloading, and printing. Accessible on any PDF-compatible mobile device, the books are fully integrated for searching and browsing with the hundreds of thousands of scholarly journal articles in MUSE. Interlibrary loan is allowed for purchased books.
These books are available as a one-time purchase.
