TAL has been offering Chicago Manual of Style but now this is being offered as a Consortia Canada deal (COPPUL is the lead), along with Scientific Style and Format Online.
There are currently 3 subscribers through TAL for CMOS and many independent subscribers. TAL will work with each institution to move subscriptions over to this new TAL/Consortia Canada license with a September 1 - August 31 subscription cycle. Current subscriptions will fullfil their current subscriptions and renew pro-rated to align wtih this new subscription term at the new discounted price.

This is a new offer for the Chicago Manual of Style AND for Scientific Style and Format Online, two bibliographic citation tools. The Manual of Style is used in Humanities and Social Science disciplines. Scientific Style is created by the Council of Scientific Editors. This offer is available to all library sectors. Organizations can select one or both.

Chicago NB system is often used in the humanities and provides writers with a system for referencing their sources. If you would like to join or cancel this TAL subscription, please respond to Christa Foley by August 21, 2017. The the three current subscribers through TAL will be renewed at the end of the current subscription cycle November 30th, pro-rated with teh new pricing to August 31, 2018 unless cancellation notice is provided. Any other libraries or current independent subscribers are asked to contact Christa Foly by August 21, 2017.
