The Lois Hole Campus Alberta Digital Library is funded by Alberta Advanced Education and Technology. In 2009, responsibility for administering the initiative moved from The Alberta Library to the University of Alberta. The initiative is an award-winning, cutting-edge digital resource that
is
changing the landscape of information accessibility for Alberta’s
learners,
researchers and faculty in participating post-secondary
institutions.
The LHCADL provides:
- Collaborative resource licensing
- Retrospective digitization of text-based materials
- Technical infrastructure, staff resources and information literacy programming
- Cost sharing partnerships with public libraries, government libraries, Alberta based publishers, and other sectors
