Description

Mango is an online language learning system teaching practical conversation skills for the world’s most popular languages.

Mango provides two modules, Basic and Complete. Mango Basic delivers polite speaking skills and small talk from the first two chapters of Mango Complete. Mango Complete provides comprehensive conversational language and grammar skills.

Mango incorporates a learning methodology designed to simulate the way people learn when surrounded by a foreign culture through practical conversation. Each lesson covers four language components—Vocabulary, Pronunciation, Grammar and Culture:

  • Vocabulary – Mango focuses on words and phrases that will be the most valuable in common, real-life situations for each language and culture.
  • Pronunciation – Mango audio is recorded by professional native speakers using standard dialect, and provides interactive tools designed to improve pronunciation, including views for phonetic spelling and two pronunciation speeds.
  • Grammar – Mango provides semantic color mapping, literal translations, grammar notes and critical thinking exercises.
  • Culture – Mango integrates cultural insight so users develop understanding of expectations, customs and etiquette.
