The VISUNET CANADA Partners Program opens up the world of reading and
learning to Albertans who are visually impaired, or who are unable
to read regular print materials due to illness or learning, physical
and/or orthopedic disability.
Licensed through The Alberta Library, APLEN funded the VISUNET
partnership with the Canadian National
Institute for the Blind (CNIB) to provide print-disabled Albertans with talking books,
newspapers and magazines, descriptive videos and electronic and
digital text.
The VISUNET CANADA Partners Program is available to all eligible residents of Alberta through their public library.
