Please find below resource(s) available for Renewal
This is the renewal invitation for three products: Curio.ca, News in Review, and L'Actualité en revue, for the period September 1, 2014 through to August 31, 2015.
Pricing for Curio.ca is based on the total number of FTEs across the participating universities and colleges - in the current subscription period, we are at 376,479 FTEs so the current price is 45 cents per FTE. News in Review and L'Actualité en revue are $0.05/FTE.
It was initially offered on a pro-rated basis and now will be on an annual subscription cycle, September 1 – August 31.
This offer is currently being offered to academic and special libraries. Negotiations for public libraries is still ongoing; an offer some time in 2014 is expected.
This is a Consortia Canada negotiated product, led by BCI (formerly CREPUQ)..
MARC records - a working group was struck in early 2014, led by Heather Fraser at York University. The group has identified enhancements to the current list of fields provided by CBC/Radio-Canada and the vendor is actively working to support the provision of enhanced records and expect these to be available in October 2014.
Closed captioning - this functionality is also underway, and CBC/Radio-Canada advises that they will be offering closed captioning for newly acquired programs - with regards to the older files, they will advise us during the year what they plan to do.
Usage statistics - this functionality is also underway, and is expected to be available in October 2014.
