There are two different products available: National Geographic Archive, 1888-1994 AND 1995-Current The archive is available as a subscription or as a one-time purchase with an annual hosting fee. The 1995-Current content is available as an annual subscription only. The vendor is presenting three different options. Details are provided below.
SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION:
There are three different options available:
1. National Geographic Archive, 1888-1994 (one time purchase only with annual hosting fee)
2. National Geographic Archive, 1888-1994 (one-time purchase with annual hosting fee) AND 1995-current (annual subscription)
3. National Geographic Archive, 1888-1994 (annual subscription) AND 1995-current (annual subscription)
1995-Current content is not available for purchase; it is available on a subscription basis only with the purchase or subscription of the Archive 1888-1994. Libraries may get just the archive (option 1), purchase the archive and subscribe to 1995-current (option2), OR subscribe to both the archive and the 1995-current (option 3).
1995-Current is updated monthly
This is a joint Consortia Canada / TAL license. TAL and BC Libraries Cooperative are the lead for Consortia Canada.
This is available as a subscription or archive purchase; The National Geographic Magazine Archive, 1888-1994 is available as a subscription or a one time purchase (with annual hosting fees). The National Geographic Magazine, 1995-Current is available as a subscription only. Libraries may get either one, or both. There are three options available.
Included is every page and every photograph, all fully searchable through an intuitive interface. Images, maps, videos and printed content are all included.

New subscribers will be sent a subscribers’ agreement to be signed shortly. This subscriber’s agreement will permit TAL to renew automatically for future renewals.
Subscriptions and/or hosting fees of current subscribers will be renewed unless cancellation notice is provided by Friday, December 12, 2014.
