Consortia Canada offering. BCI is the lead consortium.
Pricing has been held since the first term for this agreement, in 2020-2021. For 2021-2022, the number of participants rose to the 21 to 49 libraries range; therefore, all renewing libraries saw a 10% drop in their price last year.
MARC Records: The vendor informs ConCan members that "MARC records are not available, unfortunately (this is on our ‘road map’ for future improvement)."
There are two different collections available:
Complete CSA Collection
This is the complete collection of CSA's over 3,000 standards and standard related documents such as handbooks, guidelines and commentaries.
- Contains 3138 standards.
- Includes all current and historical standards in English and French.
- Standards updated immediately as they are published.
Complete CSA Collection (No IT)
In this package you will find, with the exception of IT and Telecommunication standards, a collection of all CSA's standards and standards-related documents such as handbooks, guidelines and commentaries.
- Contains 1861 standards.
- Includes all current and historical standards in English and French with the exception of IT an Telecommunication standards.
- Standards updated immediately as they are published.
As of Friday, May 22nd 2020 – All academic users will now have the ability to download their documents for offline viewing via their web browser.
Users will need to login/authenticate through their school’s library proxy server
Users should utilize the webviewer access link for their document to view it online
The user can then download the document in their web browser
Once the document is downloaded the user will be able to access it anytime by entering offline mode on their browser and opening the file.
Late joins accepted.
