Solaro

Please find below resource(s) available for Renewal

License Begins:

October 1, 2022

License Ends:

September 30, 2023
Preamble:

Solaro is now being offered as a TAL opt-in offering for member public libraries.  It was part of the TAL Core until September 30, 2021.

Additional Description:

Many study solutions only address one or two subjects. SOLARO provides study help for Mathematics, English Language Arts, and Science for students in grades 3 through 12. Students get access to all of SOLARO's content at any time. This allows students to access courses in earlier grades to get help or to access courses in future grade levels to challenge themselves.

The student’s profile, activities, reports, and history are captured in the system and are available even if there is a period of inactivity such as holidays or summer break. It is easy for clients to log in and start using SOLARO as their own personal supplemental educational resource.

Each province and territory has its own educational standards and expectations that students are graded against. Instead of a generic set of concepts, SOLARO aligns with what students will cover in the classroom.

SOLARO is offered in print, online, and through Windows 8.1, Android, and iOS mobile platforms. Libraries are able to provide students with a resource they can use on the premises and continue to access around the clock from home or school.
