TAL Under New Guidance

Monday, March 9, 2020

The TAL Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Dr. Margaret Law will take on a temporary management role effective March 2, 2020.

Dr. Law has had significant involvement with TAL. She is one of the original signatories to the TAL agreement; has served on the TAL Board and as Treasurer to the Board. In addition to her involvement on the Board, Margaret worked inside of TAL, as the Director of Services to Academic Libraries.

Dr. Law earned her MLS from UBC; an MBA and Doctor of Business of Administration from Athabasca University.

She has worked, in Alberta, for Parkland Regional Library, Leduc Public Library, Edmonton Public Library, University of Alberta Libraries, and NEOS. She is the author of ‘Cultivating Engaged Staff: Better Management for Better Libraries’.
