DSM5: This new edition of Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5®), used by clinicians and researchers to diagnose and classify mental disorders, is the product of more than 10 years of effort by hundreds of international experts in all aspects of mental health. Their dedication and hard work have yielded an authoritative volume that defines and classifies mental disorders in order to improve diagnoses, treatment, and research.

DSM5 Handbook of Differential Diagnosis: The DSM-5® Handbook of Differential Diagnosis is the preeminent guide to differential diagnosis for both clinicians and students learning psychiatric diagnosis. Based closely on the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition, it offers a rich selection of perspectives in an easy-to-use format. The author, an expert on psychiatric diagnosis and assessment, recognizes that psychological distress cannot be reduced to a rubric. The clinician must have empathy, listening skills, the ability to identify symptoms and contextualize them, and a familiarity with the body of knowledge represented by DSM-5®. The handbook brings these critical skills together in a well-written, accessible, and reader-friendly volume that is grounded in the latest research and standard of practice.

DSM5 Clinical Cases: DSM-5® Clinical Cases presents patient cases that exemplify the mental disorders categorized in the newly released DSM-5®, bringing DSM-5® alive for teachers and students of psychiatry, psychology, social work, nursing, and related mental health and healthcare fields. Cases are cross-referenced with DSM-5® and help the reader understand diagnostic concepts, including symptoms, severity, comorbidities, age of onset and development, dimensionality across disorders, and gender and cultural implications.

American Journal of Pyschiatry is the official journal of the American Psychiatric Association.  It is the most widely read psychiatric journal in the world. Published monthly, it is an indispensable journal for all psychiatrists and other mental health professionals who need to stay on the cutting edge of virtually every aspect of psychiatry. No other psychiatric journal reaches more psychiatrists with greater impact or immediacy than The American Journal of Psychiatry, the journal that the overwhelming majority of psychiatrists consider essential.

Psychiatric Services Psychiatric Services, established in 1950, is published monthly by the American Psychiatric Association. The peer-reviewed journal features research reports on issues related to the delivery of mental health services, especially for people with serious mental illness in community-based treatment programs. Long known as an interdisciplinary journal, Psychiatric Services recognizes that provision of high-quality care involves collaboration among a variety of professionals, frequently working as a team. Authors of research reports published in the journal include psychiatrists, psychologists, pharmacists, nurses, social workers, drug and alcohol treatment counselors, economists, policy analysts, and professionals in related systems such as criminal justice and welfare systems. In the mental health field, the current focus on patient-centered, recovery-oriented care and on dissemination of evidence-based practices is transforming service delivery systems at all levels.

Psychiatric News: Psychiatric News, the print and electronic news service of the American Psychiatric Association, is intended to provide the primary and most trusted information for APA members, other physicians and health professionals, and the public about developments in the field of psychiatry that impact clinical care and professional practice.

Journal of Neuropsychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences: As the official Journal of the American Neuropsychiatric Association, the society of psychiatrists working at the interface between neuroscience and behavorial disorders, The Journal of Neuropsychiatry is dedicated to developing effective diagnosis and treatment for patients with neuropsychiatric disorders. The Journal of Neuropsychiatry publishes peer-reviewed articles addressing critical subjects such as Alzheimer's disease, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, and seizure disorders, and is devoted to reporting discoveries in clinical neuroscience that are relevant to understanding the brain-based disorders of patients. The journal features original articles, concisely written clinical and research reports, perspectives on emerging trends in the field, and classic pieces from the field's rich history, and each issue gets started with the signature section "Windows to the Brain."
