TAL’s collaboration with CBC in the Out Your Way project demonstrates the continued value of libraries to their communities. The project focuses on showcasing the diverse and unique aspects of life across Alberta, inviting folk to share their personal stories, experiences, and perspectives from their own communities. Libraries across the province have acted as meeting spaces, collaborators, and facilitators of their communities’ voices, serving as bridges between individuals and the larger narrative of Alberta.

Libraries are central to providing platforms for local voices and sharing stories, thereby connecting people and fostering a sense of unity and pride. Their involvement in the Out Your Way project enhances the mission of serving as inclusive, dynamic centres for community engagement and storytelling.
