description: The Early Learning site is optimized for tablets, updated continuously, and offers rich resources designed for easy integration into the classroom curriculum. It is designed to help young learners build vocabulary, comprehension, phonics, and reading fluency. With human read-aloud and narration of classic stories, nursery rhymes, interactive games, and original videos, it is ideal for use with interactive whiteboards or small group instruction.
“Treks Travels” offers narrated stories, interactive games, and original videos teaching critical early childhood themes—including numbers, shapes, colors, opposites, and more—in both English and Spanish. “Welcome to Reading,” a guided reading program, provides 48 stories spread across four progressive Lexile levels to aid in the development of phonics skills, vocabulary, phonemic awareness, comprehension, and social-emotional skills. The Lexile Framework® for Reading ensures that early readers are using textual materials at an appropriate level. “Know It” includes rich, visual, nonfiction topics of interest and importance to early learners, and the “Print & Do” and “Play” activities reinforce developmental themes within the site.
