Description:

Boardable was founded by mission-driven founders to serve community organizations. Our mission is to increase board member engagement. What we have built is both a software platform and a purpose-driven company that serves those who serve their communities.

Boardable Platform Overview
People, Meetings, Documents and Actions

The Boardable web portal and mobile app provide the tools needed for nonprofits to:

Organize your people in one central directory, with assigned roles (from observer to member to administrator) and split into groups or committees.

Plan meetings, with transparent RSVPs, quick but powerful agenda creation, an in-app minutes maker, and simple sharing of meeting documents.

People in Boardable
Benefits for Board Administrators

No more searching through your old emails to find the address of one of your fellow board members. With the People Directory, you can quickly look up members of your groups and whatever contact information they choose to share. But why even send an email, when you can just start a discussion with your group in Boardable? Ask a question, share your thoughts, relay some information – it’s all in one place.

Benefits for Board Members

Let’s say you are on a board of directors, as well as the finance committee. In Boardable, those two teams will each have their own “group.” When you want to share a document with just your finance committee, or schedule a meeting with everyone on your board, you can easily focus on the appropriate people in that group.

Meetings in Boardable

Make things easy for your board and committee members by giving them a dashboard of upcoming meetings. From there, they can click into each meeting to see the agenda, scheduled polls, tasks, and more. They can also access past meetings for minutes and discussion threads. Automating meeting scheduling and notifications does more than save time. It frees your board from distraction, allowing everyone to focus on governance, strategy, and other areas vital to your mission. Boardable automates the hours-long process of scheduling board and committee meetings. Editing and rescheduling meetings are just as easy.

Documents in Boardable

Document Center hosts all the files your board needs in one place. You get the simplicity of organizing and distributing documents without digging up email attachments. Document Center delivers many of the same tools as traditional file-hosting services including uploading multiple files at once. From there, you can quickly organize files and start building board packets with folders, subfolders, and even sub-subfolders. Not only is the document center convenient. It is also secure. All documents that are uploaded to Boardable are encrypted on Amazon servers. Not every file needs to be seen by every board or committee member. Boardable makes defining access to confidential information easy with restricted folders.

Actions in Boardable

Within Boardable users can be assigned tasks and polls.
Polling helps you develop active, contributing board members. It highlights important decision-making items between and leading up to meetings, all without being pushy. A dashboard of upcoming polls (as well as past ones) keeps everyone focused on key items, from budget approvals to strategic plans. Board members know what to prepare and decide on, and walk in ready to contribute.
Keep track of tasks and due dates, increasing every board member’s productivity and accountability. Each individual user can see his or her assigned tasks and due dates from the home dashboard, making next steps scannable in a second.
