the library toolshed: A joint venture between The Alberta Library, The Association B.C. Public Library Directors, and The Manitoba Public Library Services Branch, hosted by the B.C. Libraries Coop. The Toolshed is an online platform for library staff to share, download and comment on library training resources.

Lois Hole campus alberta digital library (LHCADL): an initiative established by the Alberta Government, funded by Alberta Advanced Education. It was created as a legacy to the late, the Honourable Lois Hole to continue her vision of greater learning opportunities for all Albertans.The initiative provides 35 participating post-secondary institutions in Alberta with access to commercially licensed digital resources and newly created collections of unique digitized content.

alberta research portal: grants all Albertans perpetual access to the Gale Primary Sources database, featuring 69 collections covering diverse topics like First Nations history and human sexuality. Accessible without login requirements, it includes various primary sources like newspapers and photographs, made possible through collaborative funding efforts exemplifying TAL’s mission.

calgary herald (1883-2010) archive: grants all Albertans with access to the Calgary Herald. The link provided also searches ProQuest’s Publicly Available Content database.
